The conference hotel is the Hyatt Regency New Orleans located just minutes from the Historic French Quarter, Bourbon Street and the Mississippi Riverfront. The Hyatt is connected to the Louisiana Superdome and the New Orleans Shopping Centre. The Hyatt is only twelve miles from the New Orleans International Airport.

All conference functions will take place at the Hyatt including the technical sessions, tutorials, workshops, awards luncheon and conference banquet.

The conference rate for the hotel will be honored from June 12 through June 26 if attendees are interested in extending their stay.

Rates do not include applicable taxes. You must include credit card information or one night's deposit to process your hotel reservation. There is no charge for cancellations made at least 72 hours before arrival date. Room rates are quoted in US dollars.

IMPORTANT HOTEL REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Beginning Tuesday May 16, 2000 Hotel reservations MUST be made directly with the Hyatt Regency New Orleans at (504) 561-1234.
Be sure to tell them you are with the IEEE ICC2000 Conference to get the conference group rate.

Please remember to indicate your room preference when you contact the Hyatt Regency New Orleans.
Standard guest rooms are equipped with hairdryers, irons and ironing boards.
Business Plan rooms are equipped with fax machines and coffee makers. Guests have access to a photocopier on the floor.
Regency Club rooms are located on a private floor with a lounge that serves a continental breakfast and cocktails daily. A concierge is also located on the floor.
